About

The house

An India–Nigeria trading house,
built where the crop grows.

Our story

Two countries. One supply chain.

AgroMAX Limited is an Indian-owned company, registered in Nigeria, that exports Nigerian sesame. It is the commodity trading arm of a family enterprise with years of on-ground operating history in Nigeria, alongside an industrial contractor and a spare parts exporter. That history matters: sesame is bought in villages, moved on Nigerian roads, cleaned in Nigerian facilities and shipped through Lagos, and none of that can be managed from a distance.

Our structure mirrors the trade itself. Origin operations sit in Nigeria, inside the sesame belt, run by people who know the aggregators by name. The trade desk sits in India: the discipline of Indian commodity trading applied to buyer relationships, contracts and documentation. It is the same bridge the great trading houses were built on; we simply keep it family-sized and accountable.

We trade sesame in the Nigerian domestic market (farm gate, processing, delivery to buyer) and offer the same managed chain to export buyers, with groundnuts and raw cashew nuts to follow.

What we believe

Three convictions run the business.

01

Origin presence is everything

Commodity trading is won or lost at origin. Our team lives where the crop grows, buying at the farm gate rather than from a broker's screen.

02

Precision over promises

We quote in numbers (moisture, purity, loadability, response time) and we hold ourselves to them. A specification is a contract, not a brochure.

03

The paperwork is the product

An export shipment is cargo plus documents. We treat the certificate of analysis and the bill of lading with the same care as the seed itself.

Registered

Two numbers,
both checkable.

AgroMax Limited is incorporated in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 with Corporate Affairs Commission registration number 9745814, and is registered with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council as an exporter under Exporter's Registration Certificate number 0045234, valid to 25 August 2028. Both numbers are published so that a buyer can check them in the registries rather than take our word for it.

Corporate Affairs Commission

RC 9745814

Incorporated 5 August 2026 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020. Does not expire.

Verify on the NEPC portal →

Two searches, both on Nigerian government sites, neither of which requires anything from us. The Corporate Affairs Commission's public company search confirms that a company exists and that an RC number belongs to it. The NEPC exporter verification portal is free and needs no login, and confirms that an exporter's certificate is genuine and current; it can be searched by company name or by the certificate number itself.

A Nigerian certificate of incorporation carries the company's tax identification number on its face, so publishing the document publishes the TIN. No public portal can verify a TIN, which means it earns a buyer no confidence, while it is precisely the identifier abused in invoice-impersonation fraud. So the numbers that can be verified are published and the corporate documents are not. Quality and inspection artifacts are a different matter: lab reports, third-party inspection certificates and phytosanitary certificates travel with every shipment and are shared on request.

Leadership

The people behind the trades.

Institutional buyers do due diligence on people, not just products. Here are ours, reachable directly on either continent.

Sparsh Khullar

Director — Trade & Markets, India

Sparsh Khullar runs the AgroMax trade desk from India. The work is the commercial half of an export house: qualifying buyers, quoting against written specifications, drafting and holding the contract, and keeping the document set moving so that a shipment and its paperwork arrive as one thing rather than two.

The group

Two sister companies,
named, not implied.

A first-time buyer has no way to check the phrase “family enterprise” unless the family is named. Ours runs two other businesses, both out of Ludhiana in Punjab, each with its own site and its own customers. AgroMax is the only one of the three registered in Nigeria, and the only one that trades sesame.

Industrial steel fabrication and erection

RPS Infrastructures

Ludhiana, India · Sister company

The family's construction arm and an industrial contractor in Ludhiana, with projects listed for L&T Constructions, Avon Cycles and FCI warehousing in Jammu and Kashmir. Its ANRML project in Nigeria is where the family's India to Nigeria working history begins.

Two- and three-wheeler spare parts export

CrestMAX

Ludhiana, India · Sister company, a venture of RPS Infrastructures

Exports Bajaj, TVS and Hero motorcycle and keke spare parts from Ludhiana to wholesale importers in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and other African markets, as a venture of RPS Infrastructures. The same India to West Africa trade lane AgroMax runs in the opposite direction.

AgroMAX Limited shares directors and a family with those two, not a balance sheet: CrestMAX is a venture of RPS Infrastructures, but no such ownership runs to or from AgroMax. Contracts, registrations and liabilities for Nigerian sesame sit with AgroMAX Limited alone, which is the entity named on every quotation, invoice and bill of lading we issue.

Where we operate

Sourcing runs across Nigeria's sesame belt, with Nasarawa, Benue and Taraba for white food-grade seed, Jigawa and Kano for oil-grade. Shipments load at Lagos (Apapa / Tin Can Island). Our teams in Nigeria and India keep both ends of every contract covered.
